Four-to-the-floor drum patterns persist throughout ‘Pistols’, acting as the perfect disco-adjacent accompaniment to the juxtaposing combinations of the groovy distorted guitars and addictive, warm synth sounds that sit above. High energy vocals are layered atop that, with an edgy delivery bringing that rawness and grit to their music which maintains throughout the almost industrial instrumental sections.
